Biliary Cancers

Cancers of the biliary system (bile ducts and gallbladder) are rare and complex problems. Management strategies vary more commonly with these tumours than with most other cancers. Access to all possible treatments is important.

It is likely that some patients who are candidates for potentially curative surgery do not have this offered to them due to the complex nature of the disease.
