Reflux

Reflux or Heartburn is a very common condition that requires lifelong medication in many patients.

Surgery is normally indicated in patients for whom medication is ineffective. For others who have a good response to medication but are unhappy with the prospect of lifelong dependence on tablets, endoscopic treatments can give a good result.

Enteryx (R) treatment has now been withdrawn from Australia, but other methods are currently being evaluated.
